Many of the women we work with were not able to attend school or had to drop out at a young age. Our basic literacy and numeracy programs provide a second chance at education. Through small, supportive classes, women learn essential skills like reading, writing, and arithmetic, empowering them to handle everyday tasks, such as budgeting, reading signs, and filling out forms. Beyond functional skills, literacy opens doors to confidence and independence, giving women the tools to actively participate in their communities.

For women to truly thrive, they need skills that translate into economic opportunity. We offer vocational training programs in areas such as sewing, handicrafts, computer basics, and small-scale business management. Our training is hands-on, designed to provide practical skills that women can use to earn an income. With access to these skills, many of our participants go on to start small businesses, secure jobs, or become financially independent, breaking the cycle of poverty for themselves and their families.

We believe that education must begin early. For girls at risk of dropping out due to financial constraints, household responsibilities, or social pressures, we offer scholarships and school supplies. Our team works with families to emphasize the long-term benefits of education for girls, addressing concerns and advocating for continued schooling. By supporting young girls, we aim to create a future generation of educated, empowered women.

Changing the narrative around women’s education requires community engagement. We host workshops and events to raise awareness about the importance of educating women, bringing in community leaders, parents, and local organizations to participate. Our advocacy efforts also focus on issues such as gender equality, early marriage prevention, and reproductive rights, creating a supportive environment that values women’s education as a pathway to societal growth.
